Meet Andrew & Mary — The Dreamers Behind the Story
Andrew and Mary are a husband-and-wife team who believe that the best stories start at home — around the dinner table, during family trips, and in those silly, spontaneous moments with their kids.
Inspired by their sons Nolan and Ezra, and their shared love of creativity, adventure, and, of course, fried chicken, they set out to bring imagination to life through My Unicorn Eats Fried Chicken. Together, they dreamed up a world filled with color, laughter, and heart — where a unicorn named Boba reminds families everywhere that joy can be found in the most unexpected places.
When they’re not writing or creating, you’ll find them traveling with their boys, trying new foods, and turning everyday moments into magical memories.

Meet Nolan and Ezra - The Inspiration Behind the Magic
Every great story begins with a spark of imagination — and for My Unicorn Eats Fried Chicken, that spark came from two adventurous brothers: Nolan and Ezra.
Fueled by their love for fried chicken, travel, and one-of-a-kind animals (especially unicorns), Nolan and Ezra see the world with endless curiosity and joy. Whether they’re inventing stories on long trips, imagining new creatures that could live in faraway places, or sharing crispy chicken meals that make everyone laugh, their creativity never stops.
Their wild ideas, big hearts, and hilarious conversations inspired the world of Boba the Unicorn — reminding us that imagination, laughter, and a little bit of fried chicken can make any day magical.
